Joshua, age 12, is an outgoing young man who likes to stay busy and get involved in activities. He loves to be outdoors, especially when he’s playing sports. Joshua’s DHS caseworker describes him as determined and says he can accomplish anything he puts his mind to. An ideal family for Joshua is a two-parent household which is patient and structured. The adults in Joshua’s life should be ready to support him and help him stay positive as he adapts to a new environment, understanding he has experienced trauma in the past. Joshua utilizes an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) at school, and he is looking for a family who will enjoy helping him with his schoolwork at home. Joshua loves his siblings, so it is important his forever family enables him to stay in contact with them. Families with two parents from all states will be considered for Joshua, though his allergies mean he cannot live in a house with a cat. This active, engaging child wants a family who will support and love him unconditionally. Will you help make his dream come true?
