Why you don't have to be perfect

First launched in 2004, this public service advertisement (PSA) campaign from AdoptUSKids has helped raise awareness about adoption from foster care and the number of older youth waiting to be adopted.

Through fun humor, the PSAs show teens in foster care don't need perfection; they need the stability, commitment and love of a permanent connection to a caring adult.

There are more than 31,000 youth between the ages of 11 and 17 in foster care who are available for adoption.
